You will perform a diverse range of event and marketing-related functions, including the coordination of meetings, events, and tradeshows, as well as manage project timelines.Your responsibilities:EventsAssist with execution of the corporate events calendarAdministration and research of industry tradeshow activity and competitor eventsAssist with activities related to corporate events, sponsorships, and contractsAttend industry conferences and events as requiredAssist with pre- and post-event activities (e.g. delegate lists, name badges, registration desk, cloak room, etc.)Ensure the sales team follows post-event processes and protocols to maximize client follow-upFacilitate hospitality for events (e.g. setting up tea and coffee stations, putting out refreshments and catering, stationary, etc.)Provide general coordination and logistics support as requiredMonitor the events inbox and respond to emails accordingly in a timely mannerPotential for varying hours of work when required MarketingAssist with the pre and post-event marketing processes (e.g. distribute pre-event and post-event leads to the sales team, facilitate pre- and post-event email plans and work with the CRM manger to ensure data is uploaded into SFMC, etc.)Assist with the production of marketing materials for events, artwork, print, and review copy as requiredAssist with day-to-day marketing related tasks and the coordination of projects and activities as requiredAssist with EMS needs (websites, registrant information, reporting, survey builds, and follow-up) *Prior EMS (Event Management Software) experience is preferredAbout you:2+ years proven experience within an events and marketing environmentExperience within a B2B environmentExperience of liaising with suppliers (agencies, printers, exhibition organizers, etc.)Exceptional organization and a willingness to adapt to urgent and changing deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skills; a team player who can successfully build cross-functional relationships and collaborate with othersStrong organizational and time management skillsComfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentAbility to remain calm under pressureAbility to multi-tasks and work autonomously, attention to detail, analytical skillsConfident and outgoing personalityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProactive self-starter, demonstrating high initiative, critical thinking with excellent ability to work against deadlinesTeam player with the ability to collaborate, and also work independentlyExcellent project management and organization skills; strong computer skillsDelivering a great customer experience and maintaining an above and beyond attitudeCompensation:Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with applicable pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values.
