In this exciting and rewarding role the responsibilities will include expertly representing Johnson Controls Fire Protection with respect to the promotion and sale of Fire Alarm and Security Systems to direct end users within an assigned territory and accounts. You will also work with our electrical contractors to develop relationships for projects that we sell to our direct end users.How you will do it:As an Electronic Service Sales Representative, you will establish contact with existing and new end users to qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and utilizing Johnson Controls marketing strategies.Develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company product offerings, qualify and prioritize opportunities, and maintain appropriate territory records.ConductAttend seminars, demonstrations, etc. to generate, develop, and qualify leads for prospective customers.Develop financial justifications, prepare proposals, make presentations, and perform vital follow-up for successful closing of the terface efficiently with district operations and service team to deliver and improve operation and service delivery.Ability to provide accurate forecasting and follow up strategies.Deliver sales against an assigned quota.Maintain established accounts as an Account Representative through regular customer contact in pursuit of follow up on sales.Report progress and supply metrics to operations and corporate teams on a weekly and monthly basis.Participate in trade shows, special product demonstrations and other events with the objective of growing sales and improving the company's image.What we look for:Required:Highly motivated and success driven(hates to lose)High degree of self-discipline and organizationSelf-Motivation with great interpersonal skillsGreat oral and written communication skills(close the loop)Willingness to learnAbility to quickly identify and qualify opportunitiesAbility to persuade and close sales through acquired sales techniquesComputer experience (Microsoft, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) as well as cloud-based systemsPreferred:Experience working with electrical contractors, ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams desirable.Experience utilizing BlueBeam for takeoffsSalary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $72700-97,100 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Sales Commission Plan that will take into account project, quarterly, and annual margin. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
