Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Work Shifts8:00 A.M - 4:00 P.MJob DescriptionPurpose:Under supervision, and in accordance with standardized procedures, operateselectroencephalograph equipment to measure impulse frequency and differences in electricalpotential between various areas of the brain to obtain data for use on diagnosis of braindisorders; performs related work.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:•Subject to medical authority, prepares and positions patients for electroencephalograph tests.•Attaches electrodes of electroencephalograph to specific position on patient's head.•Turns on machine and rotates switches to obtain tracing of impulses from various parts of the brain. Eliminates tracing caused by outside interference.•Identifies tracing and prepares records.•Makes minor adjustments and repairs.Job Description1. Graduation from a Senior High School or possession of a High School Equivalency Diploma, and one year of experience as an Electroencephalograph Technician in an approved hospital or in the office of a recognized Psychiatrist, Neurologist or Neurosurgeon; or, 2.
