We help some of the world's fastest-growing digital banks, fintech companies, and software companies process billions in transactions annually.Lithic is hiring a Assistant Accounting Manager to manage key components of the accounting function at Lithic, such as the monthly close, audits and day to day operations. We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every requirement listed below!What You'll Do:Assist and backup the accounting manager with monthly closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting including variance analysis.Perform daily cash treasury functions and work with the operations of the business to ensure operational cash is always in the right place at the right time.Day to Day lead on all external audit requests and working with management to ensure financial audits are performed accurately and on time. Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.Serve as backup to Accounts Receivable processes including responding to client inquiries and entering invoicesbillsjournal entriescollectionsmonthly accruals.Analyze financials to evaluate cost cutting opportunities to drive value.Help to maintain and enforce company policies and procedures.Evaluate workflow processes and procedures to develop, recommend and implement procedural and systemic changes aimed at increasing accuracy and efficiency. Provide support for other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.What You Bring:BABS in Accounting with 5+ years of experience in Big 4 andor on the accounting team for a startup companyAdvanced experience with financial ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) & Excel requiredWorking knowledge of accounting procedures and GAAPWorked directly with auditors in connection with an independent financial statement auditCustomer service level communication skills with attention to accuracy and detailDesire to succeed, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic organization while staying ahead of deadlines and providing an accurate work-productAn approachable demeanor that inspires trust and confidenceFinTech experience is preferredCPA preferred but not required Experience with Salesforce, Ramp, Google Suite, NetSuite, andor Looker is a plusBase Salary: $85,000 - $120,000#LI-MS1Benefits:Health, vision, and dental insurance Unlimited PTO401(k) match Life Insurance and AD&D policy 3% cashback on all Privacy purchases
