Camp Associate - Explore Camp Cranbrook Institute of Science's on-site Explore Camps give inquisitive campers the support they need to learn through doing. Campers work together to tackle activities, experiments, and investigations as they explore popular science topics in a unique and safe environment. For more information, please visit our website at 2025 Explore Camps! | Cranbrook Institute of Science Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: This position supports the overall camp and assists with prep, engages campers in activities, and assists with camper needs. Qualifications Required: Ages 16-18 years old Demonstrated willingness to work with children in a museum setting. Ability to effectively relate to campers, staff, and museum guests. Preferred: Demonstrated experience working with children such as babysitting, schoolchurch groups or daycare environment. Timeframe: Training begins in June; day camp sessions run Monday-Friday starting July 7th to August 1st with the possible opportunity to extend employment through August and beyond. Typically, an 8-hour day between the hours 8am8:30am - 4pm4:30pm. Must be able to work the entire length of camp.
