As a Senior Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with our mission to integrate real-world assets into the blockchain ecosystem. Overall Responsibilities1. Architectural Design & StrategyLead the design and development of Plume's blockchain architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including network diagrams and system specifications.Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance platform capabilities.2. Technical LeadershipProvide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.3. System Integration & ImplementationOversee the integration of various components within the blockchain ecosystem, ensuring seamless interoperability.Develop and implement strategies for data migration, system upgrades, and infrastructure scaling.Ensure compliance with security protocols and regulatory requirements throughout the system lifecycle.4. Performance OptimizationMonitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, ensuring the platform can handle increasing loads and transactions.Implement best practices for disaster recovery, data backup, and system redundancy.5. Stakeholder EngagementAct as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts.Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing technical insights to business decisions.Represent Plume at industry conferences and events, showcasing our technological advancements. Qualifications10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on blockchain technologies and distributed systems.Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.Deep understanding of blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and consensus mechanisms.Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Go, Rust, or similar.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
