If you want to join a fast-growing, award-winning, creative team, we'd love to hear from you.This position is full-time, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is only available in New York City.ResponsibilitiesRole OverviewThe Senior Account Supervisor, Communications will serve as a day-to-day client and team leader. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cultural trends, proven working knowledge of the media landscape, strong writing skills, and experience building multi-channel programs that deliver earned results. This person will be responsible for developing integrated communications strategies that proactively and reactively achieve key business objectives. They will effectively drive a work stream forward while managing up and guiding more junior team members.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day client workstreams, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned projects and driving the team to ensure timely execution of program elementsDevelop and execute integrated communications programs (e.g. including media relations, event management, talent partnerships, brand collaborations, data-based programming, and socialPR content production oversight)Maintain current knowledge of trends, the competitive landscape, and confidently provide strategic point-of-views to the clientProactively anticipate client needs and keep multiple activities movingBuild integrated communications strategies, together with cross-functional teamsPresent strategic recommendations and ongoing updates counsel to key internal and external stakeholders, building strong client relationships and trustCultivate and foster relationships with key media contacts in the consumer lifestyle spaceIdentify and tap into cultural trends to uncover proactive storytelling opportunities and fuel earned-first creative conceptsDevelop high-quality written materials, showcasing strong writing and storytelling skillsOversee junior team members' work on assigned accounts, providing guidance and mentorship to support their professional development and to ensure high-quality work output for clientsDemonstrate willingness and ability to fuel and implement fresh thinking, push boundaries, and experiment - always looking for the "new" factor and cultural insightsParticipate in new business pitch development andor presentationsQualifications6+ years of experience in PR and communicationsIntegrated marketing experienceExperience working on large brands within the consumer lifestyle category (travel, luxury, andor Food & Beverage experience is a plus)Prior experience in consumer communications strategy, brand partnerships, and large-scale event activationsCreative storytelling skills coupled with a deep understanding on how to package a modern earned story, understand the importance of visual elementsDeep understanding of developing media strategies and strong media relationshipsExperience managing multiple short- and long-term programs and deliverables simultaneouslyExcellent communication and writing skillsExperience engaging mid- to senior-level clientsExperience mentoring junior team membersEntrepreneurial mindsetBachelor's DegreeRelentless curiosity is a mustwe're always looking for what's new, next and never been done before and are open to experimentation and pushing the boundaries.Consistently informed about industry-relevant AI trends, tools, and applications with moderate proficiency in generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, MidJourney, Runway, DALL•E, or similar platformsBachelor's degreeCompensation + BenefitsWe value all of our employees and are happy to provide comprehensive benefits to help support them holistically in the best way we can. The base compensation range for this role is $105,000 - $140,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
