This shift is 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri 7:30am-3:30pm) Some flexibility neededThe pay rate for this position is $19.50 per hour. . Life's WORC offers a great benefits package, including:- Very affordable health and dental insurance- Company Matching 403(b) program- Generous Paid Time Off policy- Tuition and text book reimbursement- regular incremental bonuses Qualifications:Associate's Degree in Human Services or equivalent credits preferredMinimum two years' experience in IDDD or related human services backgroundSupervisory experience preferredKnowledge of OPWDD HCBS Waiver ServicesValid Driver's License required (any state)Ability to work a flexible work scheduleComputer Literacy requiredSome ResponsibilitiesAssist in the day to day oversight of program operations as it pertains to individuals, staff and program siteMake decisions in conjunction with and in the absence of the Day Habilitation Supervisor that drive operational processesProvide ongoing training and coaching to all Direct Support Professional staff and assist with personnel related issuesAssist with the implementation of emergency protocolsAssist in development, approval, implementation, scheduling and participation of the Day Habilitation Plans and meetingsProvide assistance and instruction in basic activities of Daily Habilitation ServicesDrive agency vans and demonstrate safe driving practicesMonitor Fleetmatics GPS reports, ensure follow-up with all Motorist Observation Reports and provide data for safe driver incentive.Ensure for the completion of quarterly internal physical plant checksConduct monthly fire evacuation drills and record data in safety logAttend all required in-service training (i.e., SCIP, CPR) and staff meetinAdhere to all regulations and agency policy and procedures with regard to incident reportingConduct field based quality spot checks (at least monthly)Ensure review of daily activity schedules and electronic data collection (Medisked)Perform other duties as delegated, including assignments at multiple program locationsAbout Life's WORC: For over 50 years, Life's WORC has provided high quality services and support to people with intellectual disabilities and autism in Queens, Manhattan, Nassau and Suffolk counties.
