HEAD OF PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT - PRIVATE CREDIT NYC Private Credit J Harlan Group is currently conducting a search for an experienced and highly motivated HEAD OF PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT - PRIVATE CREDIT - Middle Market Direct Lending at a prominent NYC Private Credit Investment Manager. Seeking to add a seasoned and professional senior investment professional to an emerging platform focused on Special Situations, Sponsored, and Growth direct lending opportunitiesAn exciting opportunity to be a key part of the growth of the firm, funds and team and will work closely with senior members of the firm managing a $7B Performing Credit Portfolio.This individual will be a significant contributor in enabling their vision and helping the organization to grow and improve their businesses. Key Responsibilities:As a Senior Member of the Firm's Leadership team, the HEAD OF PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT will be responsible for all portfolio management aspects of the Credit Investment process with primary focus on Special Situations, Sponsored, and Growth middle-market direct lending opportunities.Manage the firm's Multi-Billion Dollar Performing Credit Portfolio covering Direct Lending investments across Special Situations, Sponsored, Growth Direct Lending opportunities in predominantly U.S based stitutionalize the Portfolio Management Process for the Performing Credit Portfolio.Manage portfolio risk, and produce consistent returns - Oversee direct lending portfolios, risk management, and performance analysis ensuring that portfolios are managed appropriately and that they do not violate investment objectives and compliance guidelines.On-going, active monitoring of portfolio investments, including anticipating documenting credit events and creatively identifying executing value-added activities to support portfolio company needs.An exciting opportunity to be a key part of the growth of this fast-growing and dynamic investment organization that is experiencing exceptional growth!
