About the Team: As the Senior Director, Marketing Campaigns, you will report to the SVP, Head of Medidata & LSE Marketing, and lead a team of brand campaign and solutions program marketers in support of the Medidata brand and Life Science Engagement (LSE) portfolio of brands. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, executing, and measuring effective campaigns and programs that reinforce our market-leading position as an innovator and trailblazer in life sciences and healthcare. Responsibilities: Develop marketing campaign strategy and plans, key messaging pillars, and core content that will drive business performance for year long timeframe Establish strategy and plans within each functional area of the campaigns and programs team, ensuring clear objectives and success metrics are defined in support of the business Collaborate with Brand Marketing team to supply campaign expertise and guidance on brand positioning strategy, ensuring the Medidata brand, its identity, proof points, value proposition, pillars, and goals are clear and impactful throughout all marketing activities; ensure brand positioning is pulled through campaigns and programs Manage the hiring, developing, and retaining of marketing talent Focus on the buyer's journey and selected personas to deliver the right program and content at the right time during the course of a campaign Create core campaign assets such as ads, landing pages, white papers, blogs, etc. Build organizational buy-in on campaigns and initiativesall the way from strategic planning to building operational momentumcollaborating cross-functionally and across regions with various stakeholders within marketing and company-wide Set best practices, including creation of campaign frameworks, processes, and roles and responsibilities Create standard measurement plan, setting campaign goals and KPIs Manage agency relationship on development of campaign and content Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Branding, or related field Minimum 14 years of advanced brand marketing and strategy development experience in an agency or in-house environment Prior experience leading a 10-15 person team and managing $1M+ budgets B2B brand marketing experience ideally in tech, life sciences industry, andor clinical development area preferred Well-rounded marketer with proven ability to build and deploy short- and long-term campaign plans, supporting growth and fueling brand awareness and pipeline growth Ability to think strategically and see the bigger picture, weaving campaign plans into the overall marketing plan Detail-oriented and active listener who can distill information and develop ideas from a variety of insights Dynamic storyteller with proven ability to make complex information digestible Superior communication skills with demonstrated ability to navigate a complex organization and generate buy-in for ideas and plans Strong creative and analytical skills Self-starter exhibiting agility with ability to thrive in a test, learn, optimize environment Proven ability to lead a mid-size team and develop talent The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in the New York Metro Area. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than the New York Metro Area, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $135,000 - 180,000. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
