For more information, please visit DescriptionThe Senior Director, Experiential Production is an integral position on Wasserman's Experiential Team responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of various aspects of agency projects, from brief to execution. This role will ensure that all project relevant resources including operations and logistics are allocated and delivered on-time, on-budget and of a quality expected by Wasserman and its clients.Additionally, the Senior Director, Experiential Production will contribute to the department operations, processes, budgeting (for live projects and pitches), agency quality control, project resourcing, third-party supplier management as well as continually mentoring and developing the Production team members.General:Responsible for overseeing and managing various large-scale project teams for events from planning through executionWork in a collaborative manner with all Wasserman account teams to ensure flawless project delivery against the client's objectives and agreed budgetManage vendor relationships with audio, lighting, staging, fabrication, graphics, digital technology, venues, labor, and other project executional vendor partnerships as necessary to ensure that all agency suppliers meet Wasserman standards of sustainability, ethical purchasing, diversity, quality control and pricing structureManage the workstreams of multiple account teams and help define the team structure, roles & responsibilities on a project-to-project basisDevelop, manage and reconcile project budgets of $2M+, responsible for ensuring that projects are correctly budgeted for and meet expected financial targetsDevelop production schedules, run of shows, and enforce deliverable dates key to program successResponsible for building and maintaining effective client relationships, ensuring that all client needs are addressed in a timely fashion throughout the duration of projectsManage and develop the relationships with Wasserman trusted suppliers and third parties, throughout the duration of the projectManage project teams across multiple client accounts, providing guidance and leadership, communicating a vision, and challenging the team to achieve goalsCreates a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment based on the company culture and valuesProvide leadership for account teams, including coaching, professional development and training, while guiding team on deliverables to ensure best practices with project managementCultivates account-specific collaboration and has awareness of nuances within individual account teams and continually guides and evolves team process, serving as a trusted resource on integrated teamsContributes to business development efforts for new revenue opportunities with existing clients and potential clientsRequirements:Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree12+ years relevant increasing operations experience (preferably in the experiential agency, sports or entertainment field)Ability to remain calm under pressure, work on multiple projects simultaneously and achieve deadlinesDemonstrate an in-depth understanding of the experiential landscape and proven ability to deliver projects from the ground upConfidence to present and communicate with senior clients as well as the ability to independently craft complex, nuanced written communications for internal and external outreachCapable of navigating tough issues and influencing those involved toward a desired outcomeAbility to foresee issues developing before they arise and develop a solution as neededMust be comfortable working as an integral part of a team environmentContinuously demonstrates solution-oriented mentalityLead and inspire other team members, generate positive moraleAbility to multi-task and prioritize workload while coordinating with others to proactively meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and highly organizedThrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a 'can-do' attitude at all timesBase salary range: $110-140K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skillstraining (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
