This position is essential to the department because it is a clinical department which has varying components administrative work being completed by. the Director.An Assistant Coordinating Manager will be able to complete the administrative work and the clinical staff can focus on improving patient care, and patient safety.AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIESDay to day Office OperationsSUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Assembles, maintains and secures all information in a confidential manner.2. Ensures deadlines are met in regards to projectsreports.3. Demonstrates the ability to recognize knowledge barriers and utilize appropriate resources.4. Verifies accuracy of informationmail processing and distribution.5. Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions and requests to staff in a courteous respectful manner.6. Reports pertinent information to superiors and other staff members.7. Type minutesagendasmemos for committee meetings.8. Performs clerical duties such as copying and filing.9. Responsible for making out four part requisitions for ordering supplies.10. Assists Director with reports and special projects.11. Direct calls to proper areas.12. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.13. Demonstrates the ability to maintain databases and create graphs.14. Ability to maintain Director's appointment schedule.15. Demonstrates flexibility and is ready, willing and able to advance skills.16. Demonstrates professional demeanor at all times.17. Works well with others and exemplifies team spirit.18. Data entry. 19. Scheduling and follow-up with patients for PFTs via telephone contact.20. Attends as a representative or liaison for the department on hospital wide committeesprojects as assigned.21. Work with Bio-Med Equipment Tech to assure supplies are adequately stocked and available for use by RT's for patient care.22. All other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology or related discipline with one year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity in business management systems, general administration, health care and medicalpatient systems administration; or,2.
