Responsible for the ultimate guest service by providing a warm welcoming atmosphere.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Report to work for scheduled shifts on timeBe in complete and proper uniform before entering any guest areaMaintain proper grooming habitsResponsible for clocking in and out, having first checked with management that it's OK to leaveKnow your scheduled working hoursAttend all required meetings and seminars as scheduledRead all information on the employee bulletin boardResponsible for updating '86' and shortage listsKeep work area neat and cleanKnow all menu ingredients, including daily specialsKnow all wines, including wines by the glass and their decorationsKnow all drink specials, including ingredients, descriptions, proper glassware, and appropriate garnishesKnow all dessert specials and descriptionsMaintain a positive, high energy attitude with guests and fellow employees at all timesComplete all side work as directedKeep all beverages completely stocked: alert management to any shortagesKnow proper use of the POS computer systemMaintain high standards of sanitation and safety at all timesBe aware of table and position numbersKnow proper procedures for handling a House Charge, Member Charge, Credit Card Charge and or Reciprocal ChargeKnow proper procedure for processing gift cardsTake food andor drinks from the port in the proper manner (i.e. spindling checks, crossing off items as they are taken, proper garnishes)Know how to take "To-Go" Orders (Walk-In and Phone)Serve customers promptly and with positive attitudeEnsure items are all rung on the customer checks as they receive themUse team work at all timesCommunicate any complaints to managementRemain in your station unless management has been notifiedFollow all house or company polices, systems, controls, and proceduresBe gracious, pleasant and thoughtfulKnow all telephone answering procedures and reservation proceduresCheck Side Work Board for items to be completedAll other duties-assigned by managerCheck with manager before leaving Requirements Should have experience in operating POS (Point of Sale) software; experience with IBS, EZLinksMust be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistanceReach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stoopingWorking knowledge of Microsoft office products including EXCEL1 years experience in the restaurant industryHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPlease click on the link below for company information.
