Financial Reconciliation Analyst

Responsible for reconciling various general ledger accounts and assisting in month-end and year-end closing. Provide assistance with internal and external audits.Job DescriptionPrepare and complete account reconciliationsanalysis for General Ledger accounts, including verifying transactions and reconciling discrepancies.Prepare and monitor reconciliations for all NYSDOH Directed Payment programs (i.e., H+H Upper Payment Limit, Safety Net, and Critical Access Hospital & Sole Community Hospital).Coordinate and prepare schedules for the quarterly NYSDOH MMCOR reporting.Maintain proper reports and documentation in department shared folder for internal and external reporting, and auditing purposes including month-end closing checklist to ensure completeness and accuracy.Special Ad Hoc projects and additional duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree with 2 years' experience in a related industryExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.Demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a team.Proficiency in PeopleSoft General Ledger System, Microsoft Excel, and WordProfessional CompetenciesIntegrity and TrustCustomer FocusFunctionalTechnical skillsWrittenOral Communication#LI-Hybrid#MPH50
