Director of Compliance - 1447

A company is seeking an experienced Director of Compliance to manage compliance functions within an MLTC (Managed Long-Term Care) organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory affairs, internal auditing, and oversight of delegated functions. This role requires exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills to ensure adherence to compliance standards and regulations.Responsibilities Include:Collaborate with the VP of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs to investigate suspected compliance issues.Manage the internal audit process and coordinate audits conducted by the SIU.Implement and oversee key delegated functions, including Magellan, Beacon, and DentaQuest.Work with operational supervisors to coordinate internal audit and monitoring programs.Provide added depth and expertise for auditing processes.Coordinate external reporting to regulatory agencies such as DOH, CMS, and others.Ensure compliance with HIPAA when coordinating member record requests.Chair the Policy and Procedure Subcommittee and oversee policy and procedure development.Manage the creation and maintenance of approved member notices.Participate in and assist with compliance committee coordination.Support external audits conducted by agencies such as CMS, DOH, and DFS.Oversee corporate compliance education and training initiatives.Ideal Qualifications:Extensive experience in compliance roles, preferably within an MLTC or healthcare setting.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards, including HIPAA, DOH, and CMS guidelines.Proven ability to manage audits, investigations, and compliance oversight functions.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to develop policies and procedures and manage compliance education programs.What's Offered:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization.Work at either the Spring Valley or Brooklyn location.This position is ideal for a compliance professional with a proven track record in managing complex regulatory frameworks.
