The Brokerage business is well established while Equity PB is rapidly growing. Both are support primarily on vendor systems with Broadridge and BAML being the two most used. The team also supports a variety of OTC products traded via a SEF (Swap Execution Facility). Marex has unique access across markets with significant share globally both on and off exchange. The depth of knowledge amongst its teams and divisions provides its customers with clear advantage, and its technology-led service provides access to all major exchanges, order-flow management via screen, voice and DMA, plus award-winning data, insights and analytics.The Marex Ops team is responsible for supporting full life cycle events for all fixed income products traded by the various businesses. While a large portion of the daily functions have been outsourced to the Broadridge Manager Products Team, Marex is ultimately accountable for all output, and thus supervising the Broadridge team's work is imperative. While everyone on the team has a daily focus, everyone is cross trained as much as possible. Any single function performed within the team has minimum of two to three employees who can step in and comfortably perform the tasks(s). The team places a strong emphasis on its control framework ensuring controls are followed and always evaluated for improvement.Responsibilities:Supervise daily activity of Broadridge BPO platform.Process all equity and option transactions including life cycle events (exercises and assignment, corporate actions, etc.)Identify and clear breaks prior to open of the market and work with Broadridge team to process End-of-Day actions.Review End-of-Day status of each client portfolio and run through control checks to ensure clean trade date balances Adhere to and propose improvements to control framework for the support of the business Work with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Compliance, IT and Operations to support BAU Supervise (if performed by a third party) or perform defined processes to adhere to regulatory requirements, including but not limited to Possession or Control, 17a-5, transaction reporting and surveillance.Regulatory trade reporting for equity and options.Process client pass through fees.Send monthly execution invoices to clients Invoice collection and payment allocation Floor brokerage invoice reconciliations.SEF (Swap Exection Facility) trade processing for OTC Swaps.Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.At all times complying with Marex's Code of ConductTo ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibilityTo report any breaches of policy to Compliance and or your supervisor as require To escalate risk events immediatelyTo provide input to risk management processes, as required.The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to petencies, Skills and Experience:CompetenciesAstute think with an aptitude to learn..Accurate and thorough with a client focus.Effective problem solver who can work independently as well as a part or a larger teamAccurate and thorough with a client focus.Strong interpersonal characteristics with ability to build relationships with internal staff across the firm as well as interact comfortably with MCM client.Strong work ethic (early and late shifts may be instituted and required from all staff)Resilient in a challenging, fast-paced environment.Excels at building relationships, networking and influencing others.Strategic collaborator with insight and agility, able to anticipate future challenges, ensuring operational effectiveness.Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred Understanding of trade life cycle events strongly preferred.One to three years' experience in a Financial Institution required.FINRA Series 99 strongly preferred.Experience supporting Equities andor Options required.Experience with DTCNSCC and OCC.Working knowledge of Broadridge BPS strongly preferred.Experience supporting EquitiesOptions.Understanding of trade life cycle events strongly preferred.Ability to document procedures and controls.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year plus discretionary bonusMarex Benefits for 2025Company Values:Acting as a role model for the values of the Company:Respect - Clients are at the heart of our business, with superior execution and superb client service the foundation of the firm.
