This is the Hyatt Touch. Position Summary: Responsible for set up and breakdown of orders and ensures a proper and efficient deliver to guest rooms or suites (for meeting in suites). The serverbusser is also accountable for ensuring hallways are kept free of tables, trays and other service equipment. Must perform all other related duties as directed. Job Duties: Sets up tablestrays with linen, silverware, napkins and all other mise en place. Ensure orders reflect department standards, i.e.: traytable set up and food presentation prior to leaving department. Records server number on guest check. Acknowledges guests with appropriate warmth and LPM greeting. Follows up on guest request(s). Follow department standards when entering guest room. Have knowledge of food preparation to respond to guest inquiry. Properly set up tablefood in guest rooms, pursuant to department standards. Break down when notified by guest Set up and break down meeting in suite as notated on BEO. Replenish items as necessary. Other related duties as noted. Food Service: Set up and stock service area with proper supplies and equipment, such as condiments, napkins, glassware, silverware and flatware. Pick up and store necessary items for service, such as: pastries, butter, juices and milks. Stock fridge with beverages Pick up food orders from kitchen, prior to delivery, review order against check to ensure presentation correct and matches guest request. Maintain open communication with kitchen staff at all times, ensuring guest requests are met. Prepare made-to-order beverage orders, such as: coffee, hot chocolate, milk shakes, juices and alcoholic beverages, etc. Prepare bread orders. Deliver amenities on scheduled days. Pick up and store food, general and beverage requisitions. Follow up on requisitions as directed. Organize work area including storage cabinets to keep accurate inventory. Other related duties as noted. Cleaning Responsibilities: Cleans work area including, but not limited to: espresso machine, shelves and countertops. Use clean as you go method. Return and break down all traystables collected from guest hallways and service landings during food deliveries and at schedule times. Return dirty linen to housekeeping and pick up clean line for service. Ensure sugar, saltpepper and other condiments are maintained, cleaned and ready to be sued for next shift. Polish silverware and other necessary service equipment Ensure all items for trays are set and stocked for next shift (side work must be completed by end of the shift) i.e.: napkins, salt and pepper shakes, silverware and other service equipment. Other related duties as noted. Qualifications: High School Diploma. Fluency in English. Other physical Abilities Push, pull, lift, and carry in excess of 40 lbs. Walk, stand, and bend for long periods of time. Salary Range: $15.5616- $20.7488 per hour
