Category Manager: Other Income

Road Ranger, a multi-state Travel Center company, is seeking a Category Manager for Other Income at its Schaumburg headquarters!Position Summary:The other income category manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing revenue generated from miscellaneous income sources outside of the company's core business operations. These will include things like ATM's, fees from services, video gaming, billboards, showers, and all other miscellaneous income. From there, they will monitor and review current strategies, analyze metrics, and identify opportunities to increase performance and revenue.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Data analysis and reporting on trends, opportunities, and potential risks regarding other income sourcesStrategic planning - develop strategy, set yearly targets, and identify new revenue streams Vendor managementPricing optimization for all other income services Manage billboard vendors, examine strategy, schedule yearly graphic updatesDevelop monthly reporting for all other income revenue streams Oversee a portfolio of all gaming locations, serving as the primary point of contact for all account-related matters.Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, VTG Operator, and Technical Support to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceededConduct regular business reviews at locations to access performance, recommend optimization strategies, uncover new opportunities, and obtain feedbackDevelop a thorough understanding of each locations overall goals and KPIs in order to effectively manage and grow the accountProactively monitor account metrics and video slot machine performance to identify potential issues or opportunitiesPrepare and deliver presentations highlighting account progress, ROI, and opportunities for growthStay up-to-date on video slot machine industry trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies to provide clients with expert advice and recommendationsAnalyze and manage campaign costdetailsand feedback for print and digital campaignsSpecial projects and other tasks as assignedQualifications:Bachelor of Science or 4 years of experience Strong proficiency in data analysis, financial reportingTechnical troubleshooting knowledge and the ability to problem-solveAbility to automate processesExcellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a group environmentRetail experience preferred but not requiredExperience with category management or process management preferred Benefits:We offer our employees a wide variety of competitive benefits to support their health and wealth, such as:Health, Dental, & Vision InsuranceWeekly PayBonus Compensation Potential401(k) with up to 4% company matchPaid Vacation, Sick, and HolidaysPaid Parental LeaveEmployee Assistance ProgramAccident, Critical Illness, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability InsurancesPay Range: $60,000 to $70,000 base annuallyJoin the Road Ranger family and see how far your drive can take you!
