To learn more: SUMMARYSony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in our NYC location. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Process Accounts Payable Invoices and check requestsReview and reconcile invoice discrepanciesPerform data entry associated with accounts payableHandling payments in an organized and timely mannerDevelopment and maintenance of Excel spreadsheetsEnsuring imaging of invoice supporting documents in timely and accurately performedAssisting in streamlining the accounts payable processAssisting with audit support as necessaryExpense report handlingAddress and respond to vendor inquiriesReview and reconcile invoice discrepanciesHonesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined aboveQUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION Your qualifications and experience should include: High school diploma. Associates degree in Accounting preferred2-3 years' experience with accounts payable or general accountingProficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skillsAdvanced abilities in ExcelKnowledge of SAP is preferredStrong time management and organizational skillsKnowledge of basic accounting principlesHigh degree of attention to detailAbility to work independently and prioritize tasksStrong analytic abilitiesIn addition to competitive pay and benefits, we offer an environment and culture that promotes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
