Job Title: PricingInside Sales Coordinator Company: Mid-sized global freight forwarderLocation: Springfield Gardens, NYSalary: Commensurate with experience + comprehensive benefits packageStatus: Direct Hire EmploymentThis position will assist the West Coast (USA) Director of Business Development, primarily focusing on the ocean FCL import and domestic trucking sectors.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Obtain rates from vendorsoverseas offices, and prepare quotations to clientsAct as a liaison between clients and DBD, and clientele and overseas offices, for issues related to pricing andor operationsAssist on global RFQs in excel formatAssist on pricing updates to all clientsAdd and update data in the CRM - sales proposals, client profiles, SOPs, etc.EducationExperience:College degree preferred, but not requiredMinimum of 4 years' experience in ocean freight forwardingKnowledge of ocean freight rates and US trucking rates - structureterminologyExcellent communication skills; comfortable communicating with clients at upper management levelsKnowledge of basic world geographyProficiency in ExcelCompensation Pay Rate (Up to): $60,000.00 - $75,000.00
