Plant Controller

We're seeking an experienced Plant Controller north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to oversee internal cost accounting, management reporting, and financial functions with a global manufacturing and distribution company. This role is critical for ensuring accurate financial reporting and optimizing manufacturing operations and will have two direct reports. Responsibilities:Provide financial guidance to plant managers and core management teams.Analyze spending in key areas like labor, scrap, and inventory.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Assist in developing annual budgets and forecasts.Support physical inventory reporting and cycle count analysis.Maintain general ledger and process transactions.Participate in month-end close activities.Monitor asset additions, transfers, and disposals.Assist with accounts payable process.Improve processes and controls for manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.Review excessobsolete inventory and conduct monthly reconciliations.Analyze work orders for accuracy.Ensure validity and accuracy of ERP system.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; andor MBA preferred.Minimum 5 years' experience in process manufacturing with cost accounting expertise.Understanding of U.S. GAAP in a manufacturing environment. SQL or strong Excel experience pulling data.BI Tools (QlikView, MS Power Query)Experience with big manufacturing ERP systems ie.
