Our client, an A-rated Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Claims Assistant to their team to help cover the NYCNorthern New Jersey territory. As a Workers' Compensation Claims Assistant, you will support the claims handling team in the management and resolution of workers' compensation claims. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist claims adjusters in managing a portfolio of workers' compensation claims.Prepare, organize, and maintain claim files and documentation.Correspond with claimants, employers, and healthcare providers.Process and monitor payments and reimbursements.Ensure compliance with all state regulatory requirements.Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings.Prepare reports and provide support for claims reviews.Update and maintain accurate data in claims management systems.Qualifications:2 to 4+ years experience in workers' compensation or insurance claims processing is highly desirable.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with database management.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.Benefits:$50,000 to $65,000 Annual based salary (depending on experience)Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance plans.Employer-matching 401(k) plan.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Supportive and inclusive work environment.
