If you have world-class talent, a passion for product design and invention, and a desire to work on a wide range of products in a fun, creative, and collaborative design studio, we'd like to meet you.Candidates must have:A bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineExpert-level understanding of materials, plastic, and metal production processesExpert-level skills in 3D CAD software (Solidworks or Fusion 360 preferred)7+ yrs experience in consumer product design demonstrating ability to resolve 3D form language and to develop products for mass productionAbility to lead a team and move projects forward - including vision, creative deliverables, timeline, and budget managementA big plus: Experience in programmingcoding in C++, Arduino, and electro-mechanicsSuccessful candidates will demonstrate that they:Excel at envisioning and articulating engineering strategies for product design and developmentmanufacturing. Strategies that increase product efficiency, quality, and durability while maintaining or enhancing the design vision.Are curious to learn new skillsAre excited to work with others in a multi-disciplinary teamAre eager to solve hard problems in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentHave a hands-on approach, comfortable prototyping and working in a workshop, including CNC equipment, 3d printers, and hand toolsAre great at story-telling: the ability to communicate your vision to clientsWe are excited to deliver the next great product experience to the worldCan lead a teamThe job's salary is aligned with experience.
