The Payroll Specialist reports to the Director of Payroll, and will be assisting Jacobi Senior Payroll Specialist in the daily responsibilities and functions of the Payroll Department for the location.Opportunity Details:Organize, audit and transmit bi-weekly payrollReview time cards and answers employee inquiriesProcess employee reimbursements, as neededProcess union duesunion pension reportsEnsure payroll laws, compliance, confidentiality and union requirements are adhered toMaintain an accurate and timely schedule for reporting and processing of payroll dataAssist with any new setup for PaycomAssist in training and compliance of the staff in the Payroll DepartmentSupport and interact with Operations and HR at all of the affiliate sitesDevelop reports requested by the affiliatesReview cross-departmental impacts and reconciles data sharingIn Office presence, requiredQualificationsBachelor's degree preferred2 years of experience in various payroll operations (time card review, pay code audit, PTO accrual settings, retroactive pay calculations for salary increases, etc.)Advanced knowledge of Paycom and its associated modules, highly preferredProficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (Vlook-ups & Pivot Tables)Knowledge of payroll laws, confidentiality, and compliance requirementsExcellent communication skillsAnnual Salary: $75,000*Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C.
