Assistant Sales Manager DesignerAt Closets by Design - Chicago North based in Bartlett, we design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom home organization systems. Our current growth has created a need for a matrixed role of Assistant Sales Manager & Designer, to support and develop our in-home sales as well as our team of Sales Managers.This position is a full time position, where a portion of the role will be an Assistant Sales Manager and the other portion, a DesignerAssistant Sales Manager Responsibilities:Assist the sales managers with daily tasks. Assist with interviewing and recruiting sales people.Field calls from sales staff.Act as a training assistant in both one-on-one and group settings.Manage unsold jobs program. Monitor and track sales milestones.Requirements:Prior experience in a sales coordination or administrative role. Some personal sales background of at least 1 year with a track recordCommitment to follow our proven, successful sales modelProficient in analyzing sales numbersWorking knowledge of Windows Office, Excel.Experience working with customersAbility to work independently as well as with a team.For the Designer portion of the role, we are looking for someone with:Great people skillsFun and outgoing personalitiesA creative sideResult driven toward goal achievementReliable transportationWillingness to learnThis is a combined role that is full-time overall where part of the role is an Assistant Sales Manager and the other portion is a SalesDesigner working with clients in their home. The Assistant Sales Manager portion is salaried and the SalesDesigner role is commissioned.
