Full time Chief Care Management Officer - 1082A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Chief Care Management Officer to direct the development, revision, and implementation of care management policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with NYSOPWDD Health Home regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the quality department to set quality goals and establish methods and tools for staff audits, evaluation, and assessments.Responsibilities Include:Spearhead the development and implementation of care management strategies, fostering a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery.Provide high-level oversight to the VPs of Care Management and Care Management workforce, ensuring their growth and success.Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices in care management.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care management programs, identifying areas for growth and improvement.Ensure that VPs of Care Management provide proper oversight to their Regional Director teams and Care Management staff in their established regions.Participate in regular meetings with the VPs of Care Management and other care management staff as necessary.Establish and maintain relationships with the appropriate OPWDD Regional Offices.Maintain ongoing contact with OPWDD for escalated issues and complaints.Work closely with the VPs of Care Management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining the highest levels of patient safety and quality care.Participate in Family Webinars and mandatory corporate meetings as appropriate.Represent the organization on various Statewide and CCO plete other duties as assigned.Ideal Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field is required.Master's degree or licensed professional preferred.A minimum of 10 years of related Human Service experience, including 5 years in IDD services.Three years of previous experience at a senior management level.Outstanding leadership qualities.Proficient in understanding the coordination and management of services for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.Ability to negotiate multiple systems through interaction with other departments, including but not limited to Not-For-Profit IDD providers and the healthcare system.Solid verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.Strong organizational skills.Salary: $150k - $220kYearTo apply, please send your resume to
