Job Summary: Own and manage all samples from pre-market handoff through to archive. Point person for all cross-functional teams regarding all sample management. Should have a thorough and intimate understanding of the collection and styles.ResponsibilitiesMARKET SUPPORTAssist the Merchandising team in preparing for market across all categories, including creating and physically tagging all SKUs.Upload collections to our inventory system, Launchmetrics, ensuring all information is up-to-date.Oversee the printing of tags and update them when relevant details change.Prepare carnets for travel and maintain detailed packing lists for distribution and tracking.Collaborate with Domestic and International Wholesale teams to ensure smooth execution of market week, trunk shows, and press VENTORY MANAGEMENTOrganize and adjust sample sets based on post-market seasonal changes.Work closely with the Merchandising team to manage and organize CARR sets each season.Keep the sample closet well-organized by season, tracking samples when they enter and exit.Archive samples as they age, ensuring a streamlined process for managing older inventory.Coordinate sample sales in partnership with the Wholesale and Operations teams.Oversee in-office giveaways and ensure they're managed efficiently.SHIPPING AND RECEIVINGManage the unpacking and checking in of trunk returns post-market, ensuring accuracy.Handle inbound and outbound shipping for .com returns from external accounts.Ensure returned products are accurately received and updated in our inventory system to reflect sample availability.Coordinate post-market sample requests across VM, Creative, Marketing, Wholesale, and PR teams.Pull samples for meetings and DTCWholesale requests as needed.Own and manage the workflow calendar with Wholesale for sell shots.Oversee the handoff of samples from MerchandisingPD to the E-commerce team for seasonal photoshoots.Requirements: (skills, qualifications, education, etc)Strong Organizational and Multitasking Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain an organized environment, especially in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.Proficiency in Excel: Demonstrated expertise in Excel to manage inventory, track sample sets, and analyze data effectively.Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in sample management, photo shoot preparation, and product returns.Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and find solutions quickly when challenges terpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across departments and foster teamwork.Team-Oriented and Positive Attitude: A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude who contributes to a positive work ventory Management Experience: Experience with inventory management systems, product returns, and redistribution processes to ensure smooth operations.Rules we live by | Rules you live byBe a Good Human - Be original, be authentic.
