The successful candidate will have experience with Cisco solutions focused on Meraki, Cisco cybersecurity, and Cisco collaboration, and will have experience in selling IT Managed Services to mid-market customers. This Account Executive will partner with specific Cisco teams and to bring new business to New Era Technology in a manner consistent with our reputation, as well as enhancing it. This candidate will work to deepen and widen his or her relationship within accounts while searching to discover additional opportunities for our wide suite of solutions. Excellent communication and relationship building skills and the ability to learn and understand Cisco and New Era's technology offerings are key requirements of this position. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy selling, are achievement-oriented and believe in performance rewards for exceeding goals through strong collaboration with partners and client stakeholders.PRIMARY DUTIES include but not limited to: Account Executive shall be responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual goals by building direct relationships with Cisco as a partner organization and end user organizations to cultivate and manage sales opportunities in specified markets and a designated geographical territory. Duties include, but are not limited to:Work directly with Cisco partner organization and SMB sales team to align sales activities and client pursuitsConfer with potential customers regarding needs and pain points and advise customers on the types of solutions available to solve these issuesPresent other New Era offerings for the benefit of the client that are aligned with current and future needs, including New Era IT Managed ServicesReview operational records and provide input for reports to project sales funnel and determine profitability.Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and sales activity in CRM toolEffectively present (strategic account) information to executive management teamEffectively communicate between internal departments and management as needed to facilitate effective client relationships related to project fulfilment and for operations teamRepresent the Company at trade shows, trade association and client meetings to promote productssolutionsservices as assignedConfer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services, secure information on productssolutions, and customer required specificationsProvide information to third parties as directed by management to drive solution designs and offered services for specific client projects.Attend prospecting and networking activities within assign vertical market(s)Generate compelling proposals consistent with corporate standards and adhere to provided templates and formats for such or as approved by management.Product demonstrations (on-site and off-site)Complete all required sales and activities reportsAttend sales meetings asAttend corporate and product training sessionsseminars and any assigned training activities as assigned by managementDeliver outstanding customer support and service to all customersSECONDARY DUTIES: Account Executive shallWork with internal support teams and management on the closing of business opportunitiesParticipate in companywide projects & promotion (e.g., trade shows, )COMPETENCIES:An aggressive, energetic, success-driven self-starter with an established skill set in solution and relationship salesProven history of sales performance in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with mid-market clients, including competence and confidence in presenting at the Director, VP, and C-levelExcellent networking, presentation, and communications skillsExcellent computer skills, including a strong familiarity with the Microsoft Platform, use of CRM software and understanding of technology trends and solutions that are applicable to assigned market(s) and territoryWorking knowledge of Cisco products and services, IT Managed Services industry and offeringsREQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2+ years of experience in the related industryfield or within channelEXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Office hours for business communication are 8am-5pm. However, additional time maybe required based upon opportunities, client needs, and other related workTRAVEL: Throughout assigned territory.
