Title: Senior Electrical EngineerLocation: Woodbury, NYDuration: Fulltime Permanent RoleResponsibilities: In collaboration with the firm's senior electrical and managerial staff, this candidate will be responsible for leading a team of electrical staff engineers and overseeing the completion of various design and construction projects, which will involve the following: Collaboration with other disciplines within the firm to support and advance electrical and controls aspects of water, wastewater and architectural improvement projects Application of electrical design principles to guide the development of plans and specifications for capital improvement projects Lead and support the technical development and design performed by a team of staff engineers Guide staff engineers throughout the process of construction submittal reviews Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related discipline 10-20 years of consulting engineering experience with power and control system designconstruction Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Experience being the lead engineer on projects and managingmentoring staff level engineers Self-motivated and eager to learn WaterWastewater municipal experience in a consulting environment Proficient in preparation of plans and specifications related to power distribution, lighting, control systems, etc. Licenses: Professional Engineering License in New York State (preferred) Schedule: Monday through Friday - 8-hoursdayBenefits: Employer 401 K contributions Health, dental and vision coverage Compensated time off and holiday pay ShortLong term disability coverage Life insurance Flex spending program
