A nonprofit services organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed professional to join their Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team as a Program Director. About the Opportunity: Specialty: Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team Patient Population: Severe mental illness & drug use Schedule: Monday to Friday (no weekends or holidays) Hours: 9am to 5pm Responsibilities: The Program Director will be responsible for: Overall supervision and management of the ACT program Development and implementation of program policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements Oversight of program budgets, resource allocation, and financial management to ensure fiscal responsibility Recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of ACT team members Providing ongoing support, guidance, and clinical supervision to team members to ensure high-quality care and adherence to the ACT model Monitoring and evaluating program outcomes and performance, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement Implementing quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the ACT program Conducting regular chart reviews and case consultations to ensure that services are evidence-based and person-centered Developing crisis intervention protocols and ensuring that team members are trained to respond effectively to crises and emergencies Preparing and submitting regular reports to funders and stakeholders on program performance and outcomes Providing education and training to community members, clients, and their families about mental health and recovery Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a Leadership andor Supervisory role Bachelor's andor Master's Degree NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), andor Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) Desired Skills: 1+ year of experience in a Clinical andor Rehabilitation Mental Health setting Experience in an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) rolesetting Previous experience working with the sever Mental Illness population
