DescriptionPosition Summary:The Junior Internal Auditor, Internal Audit, reports to the Deputy Director-Internal Audit and is responsible for assisting in conducting financial, compliance, and operational audits. Area of Talent: Internal AuditPosition Type:Full TimeExemptSalary Range:$60,000 to $65,000Location: NYCFinancial DistrictResponsibilities:Assist in conducting financial, compliance, and operational audits of key functionalbusiness areas in accordance with internal audit standards.Review and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. Assist in identifying and evaluating the Corporation's risk areas and provide input to the development of the quarterly Internal Audit Plan.Assist in the performance of audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing data, evaluating controls, and documenting client processes and procedures.Document sample selection, fieldwork performed, testing results, and audit conclusions in a clear and concise manner.Prepare work papers to support audit observations and conclusions and maintain documentation of internal audits performed.Draft audit reports including audit observations and suggested improvements.Perform follow-up reviews on actions taken to address audit issues identified.Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and share information gained with plete other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related field such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
