Canon CT Field Service Engineer

Position Summary:CTMRIPET-CT Field Service Engineers will travel and execute all required service requests, including repairs, planned maintenance, equipment de-installations and installations. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and accurately resolve technical issues with the use of laptop and other equipment. Must be familiar with CTMRIPET-CT medical equipment. OEM or third party trainingexperience preferred. Must have ToshibaCanon CT Experience.Location: New York, NYEssential Duties:Perform on-site system installations and de-installations.Plan, schedule, and execute all required planned maintenance (PM) activities.Provide on-demand phone and on-site support as required.Collaborate with Customers and Sales to clarify customer requirements and technical needs.Assist with site planning and sales consultations as needed.Maintain inventory integrity through proper handling, inspection, and warehousing.Promote positive customer relationships, including non-service call visits and meetings.EducationExperience:Required:Must have extensive background in servicing Medical Imaging equipment.Must have 3+ years experience of ToshibaCanon CT.Candidate must be willing to be on call, this includes weekends and holidays.Candidate must have a valid U.S. driver's license.Preferred:An Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or military-trained in electronics, equivalent certified electrical training or equivalent experience on electronic equipment is a PLUS.5+ years experience of ToshibaCanon CT.Travel:Must be willing to travel within the United petencies:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data.Analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Must be a proactive, strategic thinker who will be a team player.Ability to response promptly to all stakeholders.Ability to meet deadlines and provide accurate and quality reports.Solving problems on a first call basis.Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, positivity, and unwavering commitment.Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
