Among its pioneering initiatives, Winners Alliance aims to establish a sustainable group licensing program encompassing video games, trading cards, collectibles, and related opportunities.We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Accounting, the Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-makingResponsibilitiesManage General Ledger activities, ensuring timely and accurate posting of transactions and maintaining appropriate documentation.Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.Manage accounts payable and ensure accurate distributions to athletes and partners.Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to analyze financial results and provide variance explanations.Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and assist with audit processes, including liaising with external auditors.Assist in the implementation and documentation of internal controls and process improvements.Research and resolve accounting issues, ensuring compliance with the latest accounting standards.Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to provide financial insights and support for business initiatives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification or CPA candidacy strongly preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting; Big 4 audit experience preferred.
