We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role will be responsible for managing complexaccounting activities, financial modeling, and supporting the financial health of our commercial real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial real estate accounting, asset management experience, and advanced financial modeling skills.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple real estate entities. Manage the general ledger, including month-end and year-end close processes. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Perform account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts. Track and manage property-level financial performance, cash flow projections, and capital expenditures. Collaborate with asset management and property management teams to provide financial analysis and insights. Assist in developing property-level budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Prepare models and financial analyses for acquisitions, dispositions, and other real estate investment activities. Develop and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures specific to real estate operations. Support lender reporting requirements and compliance with financial covenants.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on commercial real estate or property management. Proficiency in real estate accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial modeling for real estate assets. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with cross-functional teams.Preferred Experience: Familiarity with real estate investment structures, partnerships, and joint ventures.
