Hands-on maintenance technician who would be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery. You would perform preventative maintenance (PM) on a monthly and semi-annual basis to ensure optimal functionality of our CNC equipment. Use your knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to maintain optimum production efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Preventative Maintenance: conducting routine inspections and servicing CNC machines to prevent breakdowns, including cleaning, lubrication and checking critical components.Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing malfunctions on CNC machine, analyzing error codes, examining mechanical components, electrical circuits and identifying root cause issues.Part replacement: Disassembling CNC machines to access faulty parts, replacing work and damaged components.Electrical and hydraulic systems: Troubleshooting and repairing electrical wiring, controls panels, hydraulic systems and pneumatic components on CNC machines.Machine alignment and calibration: Ensure accuracy, aligning and calibrating CNC machines.Skills Needed:Mechanical aptitude: strong understanding of mechanical principles, including gears, bearings and hydraulics.Electrical knowledge: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits.Problem-solving: Identifying root causes of complex mechanical and electrical issues.Attention to detail: Ensuring precise measurements and accurate machine calibration.Technical documents: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.Technical Skills:Understanding of CNC machine controls and components.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.Proficient use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment.Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical work.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: Minimum of 3 years maintaining and repairing machinery
