SummaryYou will serve as senior Cyber Technology Officer within U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command. Clarification from the agencyCurrent permanent employees and VEOA eligibles.Duties You will develop and implement Defensive Cyber Operations and Department of Defense Information Network operations capabilities and infrastructure as well as Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group and associated cyber mission forces.You will solve a wide range of military problems and develop courses of action based on professional experience sometimes in the absence of specific direction from higher headquarters.You will apply functional and programmatic expertise to establish and maintain productive working relationships with DoD, Government and other potential cyberspace partners to foster mission success and evolve cyberspace operational capabilities.You will serve as principal advisor for cyberspace prototyping and recommended acquisition activities across Joint Force Headquarters - DoDIN, DISA, DARPA, Marine Corps C4, MCSC, DoN CIO, SPAWAR, DoN RDTE, and the Chief Information Officer (CIO).You will represent the command on a variety of executive-level engagements including but is not limited to, executive representation internal and external to the Department of Defense.Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Demonstrated knowledge of key technical issues within cyberspace technologies for infrastructure enhancement and integration for defensive cyberspace operations while ensuring integrated system solutions leveraging state-of-the-art advances in cyberspace from the private sector.4. Demonstrated success in providing authoritative direction and leadership of a multifaceted cyber organization with varied customers, clients and stakeholders. Possess the ability to manage projects and programs to accomplish enterprise architecture goalsobjectives.5.
