We currently have openings in our Article 31 Community Based Mental Clinic.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide individual play therapy, collateral therapy, and group therapy to perinatal individuals, children 0-5, childrenteens (age 6-18) and their caregivers both in person and via teletherapy Provide case management andor crisis intervention Complete ongoing documentation in electronic records, including treatment plan, progress notes, and assessments Working evenings to accommodate after school appointments is required Displays professional skills to coordinate and maintain contact with service providers and support systems including but not limited to psychiatrists, therapists, state and local hospitals, community residences, court system, family members, primary care providers, and educational services. Completed required documentation in Northside's medical electronic records system (EMR) as per NYCDOHMH and NCCD policy. Maintain weekly productivity goal and timely documentation Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, administrative meetings, and conference meetings. Attends training as suggested by supervisor andor identified opportunities for professional development. OPPORTUNITIESThe ECMH Program believes strongly in connecting clinicians to opportunities for clinical growth. ECMH clinicians may have the opportunity to train in the following modalities as training cohorts are available: Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) Perinatal Child Parent Psychotherapy (PCPP) Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) Circle of Security Perinatal mental health certificate Facilitating Attuned Interactions (FAN) Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions Treatment (SPACE) Practical Resources for Effective Postpartum Parenting (PREPP) QUALIFICATION LMSWLCSW or Ph.DPsy.D. Current NYS License Bilingual Spanish or Mandarin speaking preferred Experience working with Early Childhood population Experience with evidenced based models Experience with behavioral health issues impacting children and families Good organizational and communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative working relationships Cultural competence and humility
