Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner Needed Near Chicago

Our client is seeking a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner who will utilize the nursing process to meet the health care needs of patients. The practice is based on established standards of care and is supervised by a designated physician. The ideal candidate promotes teamwork among co-workers and adheres to patient satisfaction principles while reporting to the clinic director and to the designated physician. Practice details include: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of Illinois A masters or doctoral degree in nursing with psychiatric certification (PMHNP) required Maintain an active DEA number Previous experience preferred, but not required Secure client information per HIPAA standards. Complete all recommended continuing medical education requirements EPIC EMR in use M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm (flexible) 1:8 weekend call which includes both adult and child on both Saturday and Sunday. Consult calls are taken during the week but usually are held until the next morning.
