Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Relocation bonus Job Title: Automotive Consultant -Job Location: Auburn Hills, MI (On-site)We encourage you to apply if you have experience in any of the following areas:•Body-In-White•Chassis•Exterior Body•ClosuresKey Responsibilities:•Provide expert guidance to automotive clients on a variety of projects, including vehicle integration, systems engineering, product design, costing, manufacturing, and, importantly, ideation.•Lead teams in evaluating and enhancing automotive products and processes, with a strong focus on innovation and ideation.•Delve deep into assessments and benchmarking to uncover areas where creative thinking can drive improvements and cost savings.•Collaborate closely with clients to develop and implement imaginative solutions that elevate product performance, trim costs, and boost efficiency.•Prepare detailed reports and presentations that communicate findings, recommendations, and actionable insights to clients.•Skillfully translate insights into comprehensive reports and presentations that captivate and inspire action.•Lean Design® is a registered trademark of Munro & Associates, Inc.Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, especially those tied to ideation.•Demonstrate Company Values: Integrity, Competency, Collaboration.•Other duties as assigned.•Requirements:•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field preferred.•10+ years of professional experience in the automotive industry.•An exceptional ideation specialist with expertise in vehicle integration, systems engineering, product design, costing, manufacturing, and the ability to infuse creativity into problem-solving.•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.•Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.•Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.•Demonstrated exploratory, innovative mindset.•Willingness to travel as needed to meet client requirements.
