EOE.Job Responsibilities:Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and General Motors standardsDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and infotainment systemsCommunicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of labor and time needed for additional automotive repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsContinuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay up to date with rapidly changing technologyRequirementsGM dealership experience as a journeyman automotive mechanicExperienced transmission technician, 5+ years experienceMust have Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certificationsTeam-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining the highest level of customer service (CSI)Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsValid driver's licenseAuthorized to work in the U.S.A.Must pass pre-employment background checkscreening
