QUALIFICATIONSEducationDegree minimum requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalency DiplomaYears of Experience: currently in College or 2 years of experience working with childrenAge: 18 years-old or older, preferredStrong Youth Development backgroundMust love children, working in groups and being part of a communityFlexibility and the ability to work well as a member of a teamInterested in managing and creating positive experiences for groups of youth, including participants with special needs and challenging behaviorsDesire to share and build personal and interpersonal skills with participantsAbility to set limits and maintain helping role of practitioner and to intervene appropriatelyIII. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITYThe Group Leader role focuses on supervising a group of participants in the program, in collaboration with other professionals including Activity Specialists and Youth Workers.Salary Description $16.00 per hour
