Office of Information Technology Service (ITS) is seeking a Business Analyst-Level III that will adhere to a hybrid agile framework to create quality user stories, provide inputs for prototyping, review current state legacy systems, assist with buisness rules extraction and validation, future state analysis, work with product owner to add clarity on user stories, conduct and execute agile practices and other BA activites requiested by supervisor.Day to Day tasks include: Extract, transform, and document legacy systems' functionality, and develop clear user stories based on the requirements identified in the product roadmaps. Perform agile business analyst tasks including, but not limited to, requirements analysis, functional analysis, system requirements, non-functional requirements, identifying dependencies, risk analysis, and gap analysis. Transform existing time-consuming legacy applications into modern applications. Write user stories to develop an extensive product backlog. Participate in agile ceremonies, including but not limited to product backlog grooming sessions, and capture system requirements on a mainframe modernization project covering multiple complex functional domains. Participate in agile ceremonies, drive sprint planning sessions, and assist with product roadmap development. Work with the technology team to validate legacy business rules. Work with stakeholders to develop modern functional solutions to overcome legacy challenges. Work with the Product Owner to develop product roadmaps for different projectsinitiatives. Perform GAP analysis individually andor with the team. Work with the architect to understand architecture diagrams and dependencies.Mandatory Qualifications: Level III - More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Business Analyst At least seven (7) years experience in agile, hybrid agile iterative software development, product backlog grooming, contributing to roadmap development. At least ten (10) years of experience identifying, documenting, creating user stories and validating business functional and system requirements across multiple projects.Desirable Qualifications: More than five (5) years of experience on projects analyzing, extracting, transforming, and documenting legacy systems' functionality, system logic, and business rules More than 4 years of experience identifying, documenting and validating system requirements on a mainframe modernization project covering multiple complex functional domains. More than five (5) years of experience in writing quality user stories, working with UXUI designers, and participating in agile practices and ceremonies. More than five (5) years of experience working independently in conducting the full analysis of a project.
