Lead Product Designer

Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.We're seeking an exceptional Lead Product Designer to join our team and help shape the future of our on-chain tools and products. In this role, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on design expertise to create innovative solutions that delight our this role, you will: Manage at least one other designer and lead product design across the organizationCreate designs to support cross-functional teams, both for internal and external tools and platformsDesign beautiful, usable, and valuable product experiences for the Stellar ecosystemMaintain and scale our design system to improve and ensure consistency across productsConduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisionsPresent design work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively to ensure high-quality designsWork closely with engineers to QA products to ensure that they are pixel perfectChampion user-centered design practices throughout the organizationYou have:7+ years of product design experienceStrong visual UI skills and detailed design eyeDeep experience creating and shipping extraordinary productsStrong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design workExpert knowledge of modern design tools (Figma, Framer, etc.)Experience with design systems and component librariesExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsStrong understanding of user-centered design principlesExperience conducting user research and usability testing**We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every listed qualification.
