IT Systems Manager

Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe IT Systems Manager will be responsible for leading a team of technicians which may include developers, analysts, help desk operators, in the support of technology needs and strategic goals. Manages the IT Department and provides the leadership for technology-based solutions, creating a competitive advantage, enhancing the customer experience, improving service quality, improving cost effectiveness, and leading to greater productivity and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesOversee infrastructure or application design, development, and implementationResolve gaps in skills, processes, and resourcesAssign assignments, priorities, and deadlinesMentor, coach and lead a teamCreate budgetsBuild relationships with vendors and external teamsPerform systems analysis to create new solutions or install and implement products purchased from vendorsOffer solutions to business partnersServe as a liaison to both technical and non-technical staff at all level of the organizationSupport and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard workPartner with other business segments: salesmarketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and financeUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serveEnsure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properlyParticipate in required company meetingsMaintain an organized work area (5S)Participate in the Operational Excellence ProgramQualificationsBachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business field3 years of experience leading technical teamsDecision making and problem-solving skillsMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)Clear and effective verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailOrganizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to prioritize and multitaskDesirable Criteria & QualificationsCertificates in Project ManagementContinuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, andor organizations
