(pronounced Mow-voo)Job DescriptionThe Business Development Director is an individual contributor role with the sole focus of creating and closing sales opportunities for all product solutions.Solutions: Fully automated storage solutions including pallet shuttles (atlas), tote shuttles (eScala), as well as automated mobile robots (iFollow) and ancillary systems such as conveyors and lifts.Customers: End users are located throughout the United States and Canada. We work with many of the leading integrators as our Sales partners.Depending on your own network and previous experiences, your focus will be:3PLCold ChainKey AccountTypical project size: 1-30MAs our Business Development Director, you...are responsible for the complete chain of sales activities (incl. proposals, calculations, and offers - with the help of our sales engineering team)initiate sales opportunities with warehouse automation integrators on behalf of end customersfind new integrators to partner withparticipate in trade shows (ModexPromat, and industry-specific ones)lead and coordinate focused marketing efforts such as writing blog posts and speaking opportunities at trade showsprovide monthly and yearly forecasts and reportssupport on the sidelines of sold projects; e.g., change ordersQualificationsThis lets us know you're up for the jobAround 10 years of sales experience, of which at least 5 years in the material handling industry; ideally for a manufacturer selling to integrators or selling as the integrator to the end customer.hunter and farmer mindsetliving in the mid-Western region; within 3 hours drive of our Romeoville officewilling to spend at least 2 days at the office week (overnight stay possible)willing to travel around 50% throughout the US and Canada; plus occasionally to training events or reference site visits in Europewe work closely with our European colleagues. The morning hours are the most important so we can connect with them while our business hours overlap across time zones. Early birds get the worm!
