Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance ElectricianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a contract-to-hire position with a 6-month duration. This role involves performing electrical troubleshooting on electric arc furnaces, bucket elevators, pneumatic systems, and augers within an industrial setting.ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical troubleshooting on various industrial equipment, including electric arc furnaces and pneumatic systems.Handle motor controls, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and DC controls.Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Perform minimal PLC troubleshooting, specifically with Allen Bradley Micrologic systems.Conduct preventive maintenance and installations as required.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.Experience with motor controls, both VFD and DC controlled.Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance practices.Additional Skills & QualificationsPossession of an electrical journeyman's license is beneficial.Experience with Allen Bradley PLC systems.Why Work Here?Join a team with long-tenured employees and enjoy great benefits once hired full-time. Training will take place during the day for up to 3 months before transitioning to rotating shifts. The work environment is very dirty, with uniforms provided and a locker available for storage. Safety gear such as steel-toed boots, hard hats, and safety glasses will be provided.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of HOPKINSVILLE, Kentucky.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.92 - $27.92/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
