If you have a passion for technology and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you!Top Skills' Details:3+ years of experience as a commercial security technician.Proficiency in installing CCTV, Access Control, and Mag Locks.Experience programming access control and CCTV systems.Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Access Control and Security Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to program and install security systems (Card Access, CCTV, CATV, and Intrusion systems) according to manufacturer requirements and engineered drawings. This role involves coordinating small teams of installers to ensure adherence to company safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Program and install security systems (Card Access, CCTV, CATV, and Intrusion systems) per manufacturer requirements and engineered drawings.Lead and supervise a crew, providing necessary training and coordinating personnel and timelines to complete projects efficiently.Accurately complete all required paperwork (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers, etc.) on time.Adhere to and participate in all company, customer, and industry quality and safety standards and regulations.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalency.Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial security systems or a related telecommunications field, with demonstrated supervisory abilities.Proficiency with basic hand tools (screwdrivers, drywall saw, torpedo level, tape measure, snips, pliers, hammer, cable stripper, insulated crimping tool, flashlight, gloves, multimeter, butt-set, toner/wand, coax compression/hex crimp tool).Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to interpret blueprints and other project documentation.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Ability to work at heights, off ladders, and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and move up to 75 pounds.Ability to see and distinguish different colors, read small print, and recognize audible signals.Willingness to travel within the branch or regional territory as needed.Employee Value Proposition (EVP): This role offers a fantastic opportunity to expand your experience in a new industry.
