We are seeking enthusiastic, passionate individuals who are driven to be the best at what they do and desire to be a part of something truly special.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1. Perform a variety of cleaning activities which include, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, disposing trash and making beds2. Ensure all rooms are cleaned and inspected according to 5 Star standards and within deadlines3. Perform turn up and turn down services for guest rooms4. Replenish guestroom and public area restrooms5. Maintain professional etiquette with all guests and employees7. Must greet all guests as though you are welcoming them to your own home8. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas9. Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner10. Must meet Forbes Standards in all daily operations and guest interactions11. Communicate any special requests to Housekeeping supervisor13. Responsible for following standard operating procedures and safety regulations14. Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times15. Stock and maintain housekeeping cart17. Assist public area attendant in cleaning and maintaining the public areas as needed18. Assist with cleaning, folding, ironing and steaming of laundry as needed19. Complete all assigned projects by the Housekeeping supervisor20. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Inn and its history21. Must follow all disinfecting and sanitization policies QUALIFICATIONS Required1. 6 months to 1 year of housekeeping experience2. Must be able to work weekends and have a flexible work schedule3. Excellent communication skills4. Must be at least 16 years of age5. Must be well-groomed and well-presented with no visible tattoos Desirable1. Familiarity with Forbes Standards2. Ability to communicate with a language other than English, preferably Spanish or French3. Prior experienced working in a 4 or 5 star luxury propertySKILLS1. Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner2. Ability to work independently, as well as in a close team environment3. Ability to use standard housekeeping equipment, which include, but not limited to, a linen cart, vacuum, mop, broom and various chemicals for cleaning4. Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance5. Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written6. Ability to speak using clear and professional language7. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment8. Ability to cross-train across multiple departments and assist when needed9. Must always be compliant with quality assurance expectations and standards10. Ability to complete assigned work in a timely mannerPHYSICAL DEMANDS1. Must be able to lift 30+ lbs2. Able to stand, bend and walk for long periods of time3.
