This is your chance to blend technical expertise with hands-on leadership, ensuring each product is delivered to the highest standards.Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the finishing department, ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness of completed products Lead communication across internal teams and with external partners to address inquiries and drive resolutions Manage customer inquiries related to finishing selections and timelines, providing proactive updates and support Drive scheduling, workflow management, and resource planning to meet production deadlines Analyze KPIs and performance metrics to identify trends and implement improvements Champion efficiency through innovative tools, techniques, and process enhancements Advocate for continuous improvement with a focus on waste reduction, consistency, and overall qualityWhat You Bring to the Table 2+ years of experience in finishing or production management in a cabinetry or woodworking environment Strong hands-on knowledge of finishing techniques and materials staining, sealing, lacquering, and sanding Experience with HVLP and airless spray equipment Familiarity with both water-based and solvent-based finishes Understanding of wood species, MDF, and veneer materials Sharp eye for detail with color matching and paint mixing skills Experience using KPIs and production data to drive improvements Problem-solving mindset with a proven ability to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions ERP system experience is a major plusInterested in hearing more?
