Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Panel BuilderJob DescriptionAs a Panel Builder, you will be responsible for constructing various food-grade machines of different sizes offered by our client. This role involves wiring panels, reading schematics, mechanical assembly, small welding tasks, and building crates for shipping the machines post-build. You will work with mechanical components (assembly, hand tools, blueprints, nuts, bolts, etc.) and electrical components (wiring, electrical prints, and panel installations).ResponsibilitiesBuild various food-grade machines, both large and small.Wire panels and read schematics for proper wiring.Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, nuts, bolts, and blueprints.Build crates for shipping completed machines.Install and wire electrical panels according to electrical prints.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for machine building.Essential SkillsExperience with wiring inside panels.Proficiency in machine assembly (beyond just part assembly).Ability to read and interpret schematics.Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding experience.Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).Pneumatic experience.Machining experience.Why Work Here?Enjoy a bonus program on a quarterly basis with the opportunity to earn 35% of your gross income quarterly. There is flexibility for additional hours if desired but not required. The facility spans 80,000 square feet, with 10,000 square feet dedicated to office space and 70,000 square feet for plant operations, including storage, assembly, shipping, and manufacturing areas. The environment is laid back, with a maximum of 45 working hours per week. Dress code ranges from casual to business casual depending on the day.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Haven, Michigan.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
